1. Who we are and what these terms cover
This website is operated by Databaseonline B.V., trading as 24x7DBA, Kade 28, 4703 GG Roosendaal, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce number 30171190, VAT number NL820774704B01 ("24x7DBA", "we"). By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.
These terms cover the website only. Database administration, support and development services are delivered under a quotation, engagement sheet or service agreement that sets out scope, rates, response targets and liability. Where that agreement and this page differ, the agreement prevails.
2. Information, rates and offers on the website
We take care to keep the information on this website accurate and current, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete, correct or up to date at every moment. Descriptions of services, retainer contents and response targets are a general description of what we offer and become binding only when confirmed in writing for your environment.
Rates shown on this website are in euros, exclude VAT, and are indicative. A written quotation always prevails over a rate on the website. Booking a time slot on the booking page is a request for a call; the call is confirmed by a Microsoft Teams invitation from us and is free of charge unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
The case descriptions and figures on the website are illustrations of our work. Where they are based on customer engagements they have been anonymised and simplified.
3. Intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, design, logos, code samples and images, is owned by Databaseonline B.V. or used with permission and is protected by copyright and trademark law. 24x7DBA, the 24x7DBA mark, DatabaseOnline, SQLTreeo, SSMS Addon, SSMSFolders, SQLServerSpecialist and Office365 Mail Solutions are names and brands of Databaseonline B.V.
Microsoft, SQL Server, Azure, Windows, Microsoft Teams and SQL Server Management Studio are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. Other names are the property of their respective owners. Their use on this website is for identification only and does not imply endorsement or partnership beyond what is explicitly stated.
You may view, print and quote from this website for your own information and for evaluating our services, with attribution. Any other reproduction, distribution or commercial use requires our written permission.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use this website in a way that damages it, interferes with its availability, or breaches the law. In particular you may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or the systems behind it, run automated scraping or load-testing tools against it, submit booking requests in bad faith, or use the contact details on it for unsolicited bulk communication. If you find a security weakness, please report it as described under responsible disclosure.
5. Links to other websites
This website links to the websites of our own brands and to third parties such as Microsoft. Our brand websites have their own terms, licence agreements and privacy statements, which apply when you buy or download a product there. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites.
6. No advice without an engagement
The descriptions and examples on this website are general information about database technology. They are not advice for your specific environment. Advice tailored to your situation is given only within an engagement, after we have seen your environment. A free intro call is a conversation, not an audit.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by Dutch law, Databaseonline B.V. is not liable for damage that results from the use of this website or from reliance on information published on it, from the temporary unavailability of the website or the booking page, or from the content of linked third-party websites. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for intent or gross negligence.
Liability for services delivered to customers is governed by the applicable service agreement.
8. Privacy and cookies
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy. This website sets no cookies; see the cookie policy.
9. Changes
We may change these terms and the website at any time. The version and effective date at the top of this page identify the current terms. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the changed terms.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes about this website that cannot be resolved amicably are submitted to the competent court in the district of Zeeland-West-Brabant, the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
